Hello Everyone!
I’m Ginger. I’m a Wisconsin native and I currently attend school at Arizona State University where I’m majoring in broadcast journalism. At ASU, I’m also fortunate enough to be part of an amazing sorority, the Pi Zeta chapter of Delta Zeta.
Although some of you are probably familiar with my baseball writing, my career ambition is to eventually transition into sports broadcasting. I’ve been fortunate enough that God has blessed with some amazing opportunities so far!
Currently, I write for College Baseball Daily and I absolutely love it! It really is the best job that I could have right now. I mean, I get to cover baseball every day…that’s pretty great! I also get to travel to some pretty cool ballparks. Some of the highlights of my first year covering college baseball have been traveling down to Hoover, Alabama for the SEC Tournament, surviving Gary, Indiana for the Gary Regional and the most unbelievable trip yet was heading to Omaha, Nebraska for my very first College World Series.
As great as my job is, I’m also a normal 20-year old girl. I take 18 credits a semester so I study a lot, I workout almost every day, I try to maintain a social life, I make time to volunteer, I go to church and lead bible studies, I spend time with my family when I’m home, and as much as that may not be as fascinating as some may think my life is, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
For me, everything in my life falls under these priorities:
- God
- Family & Friends
- Sports
- Everything Else
I wouldn’t be anywhere in my life without my faith & the amazing support of my family. Sports have also helped to shape the person that I am today. I’m pretty simple!

Just cruising on twitter and saw your #badday…those blow! Just thought i’d share w/ ya though something my brother and I were talking about today. Its only our mistakes and misfortunes that we learn something from. You r a sports lover (me too!) So u get it. Its not about your mistakes bit how fast u can learn from them and move fwd!
